So we compromised, dropped the outer-space chariot racing scene and made a lovely 2-minute film, showing how any small business could benefit from cheap and effective SMS marketing – from fishmongers to football clubs.

Our film stars Luigi, an Italian restaurant owner, who is facing a very quiet night until he harnesses the power of text messaging to conjure up a queue of hungry diners and put a smile back under his moustache. And not a space chariot in sight!

If its Buddy Bear, our new friend at Crealy Great Adventure Parks in Devon, then everyone can hear him – if they go to see the New Buddy Bear Show, that is.

Buddy and his best friend Donny the Dodo will be on stage every day presenting their very first live show for visitors, produced by CharacterShop and featuring songs, jokes and some very special treasure. If you’re lucky they might even share their treasure with you!

Our fabulous fourth sell-through DVD for Haven Holidays finds the Troop hoping for a relaxing time on the island paradise, soaking up the sun, sand and surf. Unfortunately, when the island’s dormant volcano wakes up in a really bad mood, its up to Rory, Bradley and the gang to try and save the islanders, protect the endangered Tooky Wooky bird and ensure that the big beach birthday party goes ahead as planned.

Can they save the day?  There’s only one way to find out.

Luckily, CharacterShop didn’t have to kill anyone to realise this lofty ambition – we just had to produce ‘The Boy with the Golden Toothbrush’, a stunning 5 minute mini-movie for Aquafresh Kids which will be showing at Cineworld cinemas during their sponsored ‘Movies for Juniors’ programme on weekend mornings.

Telling the story of how young Olly finds a magical Golden Toothbrush in his attic, which transports him to Nurdle World, where he finds out all about tooth care for kids. Showing in full, glorious HD technicolour with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, our animation has never looked and sounded so good.

We were asked (very nicely) to supply the lovely folk at CITV with a few ten second pieces that would visually represent just how much fun it is to watch their wonderful kids TV channel. How could we say no?

The ideas came thick and fast and we really struggled to whittle them down to just 4 funky fresh films which illustrate the power of CITV to transform boring old everyday life into a carnival of fun and laughter.
